Michelle has over fifteen years experience as a stylist and makeup artist. She has worked with models and photographers on countless photo shoots for catalogues and magazine editorials, and she has also worked on fashion shows like Arena, DIFFA and Product Runway. As a co-owner of the salon, she believes in continuing education and encourages it at Ombú in order to ensure the salon is always at the forefront of trends, products and services. Indeed, Michelle, “loves developing a team of artists that both inspire and learn from each other every day.” With this extensive exposure and background, Michelle also discovered the need for beauty to be environmentally conscious. As such, she made the foundation of Ombú not only to be at the cutting edge of style and beauty, but also to utilize and promote a greener, organic approach to spa services and products. She strives to use only green materials, recycled furnishings and reusable or organic products in the salon to uphold the philosophy of providing a natural approach to beauty.
